SABER- 5th Phase implemented

The Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality announces the commencement of the mandatory implementation of (SASO) the fifth phase of the registration of products in the Saber platform as of 01/11/2019 in accordance with the following regulations:

Technical Regulations for Auto Spare Parts. New spare parts for motor vehicles except tires, vehicles batteries and safety barriers
Technical regulations for personal protective equipment and clothing. e.g. firefighting clothing, eye protection equipment, gloves, safety shoes.

Note:-

1. Conformity assessment bodies must stop issuing the paper certificates as of 01/11/2019.

2. Any consignments that do not have Saber certificates will be suspended from 15/11/2019.

3. Only consignments with COC certificates issued before 01/11/2019 are allowed.
